Abstract
The paper reflects on borders and limits of spoken word art, spoken word poetry, performance poetry, and slam poetry, discussing the major trends and themes in female performance poetry, namely Alysia Harris, Raych Jackson, and Andrea Gibson. Attention will also be paid to the flexibility and variability of a spoken/performed poem.
