Ve studii je popsán vznik a vývoj myšlenky ekomuzea, úloha ekomuzea v ochraně přírody a krajiny a zachování tradičních ekologických znalostí a činností.

The study describes the origin and development of the idea of an ecomuseum, the role of the ecomuseum in the protection of nature and landscape and the preservation of traditional ecological knowledge and activities.
