Abstract
Quasiperiodic oscillations (QPOs) are observed in various neutron star (NS) and black hole (BH) X-ray binaries. It has been discussed in a serie of papers whether the 3:2 (and other) ratios pop up also in these variable frequencies of NS systems or not. Here we present a brief overview of the "3:2 subject" and summarize several recent findings of different autors which partially resolve this question. Finally, we specify some consequences for orbital QPO models.
