| Abstract |

| Novorozenci / kojenci se během prvního roku svého života velmi rychle vyvíjejí. Nikdy v následujícím životě už člověk neprojde tak překotným růstem a vývojem ve všech směrech. Hlavními smysly jsou čich, chuť, hmat, sluch a zrak. Těchto pět smyslů se v tomto období neustále tříbí spolu s růstem mozku a dítě postupem času zvládá více a více nových poznatků a vjemů. Velmi důležitý předpoklad správného vývoje novorozence a kojence a jejich smyslů je dostatečný přísun stimulů, které mohou děti zkoumat a sledovat nebo poslouchat. |

| Newborns/infants develop very rapidly during their first year of life. Never in the next life will a person go through such rapid growth and development in all directions. The main senses are smell, taste, touch, hearing and sight. During this period, these five senses are constantly refined together with the growth of the brain, and the child manages more and more new knowledge and perceptions over time. A very important prerequisite for the proper development of newborns and infants and their senses is a sufficient supply of stimuli that children can explore and watch or listen to. |
