Abstract
In this article, we analyze the effect of a spherically symmetrical clump on the anisotropy of the cosmic microwave background radiation temperature in the framework of the standard model of cosmology with a nonzero cosmological constant Lambda and we show that it weakens the Rees-Sciama effect.
