Abstract
Vystoupení na konferenci přibližuje různé způsoby vyobrazování panovníka na římských mincích v období principátu a dominátu. Všímá si realistických rysů portrétu či naopak idealizujících prvků a postupného schematismu, dále věnuje pozornost pokrývce hlavy, účesům, oděvu a různým odznakům moci. Vystoupení doprovází bohaté zastoupení ikonografického materiálu, nezřídka snímků vzácných ražeb antických mincí.
Abstract (in English)
The presentation at the conference brings to light the various ways of depicting the sovereign on Roman coins during the period of the principate and dominion. He notices the realistic features of the portrait or, on the contrary, idealizing elements and gradual schematism, he also pays attention to headdresses, hairstyles, clothing and various badges of power. The performance is accompanied by a rich representation of iconographic material, often images of rare mints of ancient coins.
