| Viktor Fuček (1977) o sobě hovoří jako o šamanovi, tj. jako o tom, kdo se vciťuje do prostředí a navazuje s ním kontakt. Z tohoto kontaktu pak čerpá ve své tvorbě, přičemž prostor vnímá „ako živú vzťahovú štruktúru“. Umělec se dlouhodobě zabývá experimenty s malbou, v Být malbou zpracovává její přesahy do živého umění, vizuální performance a tance. Až dosud byl povrch obrazu Fučekem vnímán převážně jako časosběrný otisk, či - v návaznosti na akční malbu - jako statické zachycení umělcovy akce. Pro autorův přistup je typická proměnlivá směsice racia a intuitivní procesuality, znatelný je též vliv praxe butó. Co se stane, když se umělec rozhodne jít za hranici lidského, když prozkoumává tělové možnosti posthumanistického přístupu? Být malbou je výzva stát se expandovanou součástí malby a v duchu nového animismu vytvořit novou bytost – umělecký objekt. Druhou rovinou projektu je zkoumání možností foto a video dokumentace vizuální performance. Z první části výzkumu nazvané Pokus o Posthumánny Portrét (Rozkvet Gallery v Banské Bystrici 1.2. – 1.3. 2023) jsou v Galerii Hauerova 4 vystaveny fotografie. Vernisážová performance Viktora Fučeka a Jany Orlové bude tentokrát spojena s video dokumentací. Akce byla realizována z díky podpoře grantu IGS/7/2023. |

| Viktor Fuček (1977) refers to himself as a shaman, i.e. as one who empathizes with the environment and makes contact with it. He then draws on this contact in his work, perceiving space "as a living relational structure". The artist has long been experimenting with painting, and in Being a Painting he elaborates on its overlaps into live art, visual performance and dance. So far, the surface of a painting has been perceived by Fuček mainly as a time-lapse print, or - in relation to action painting - as a static capture of the artist's action. The artist's approach is characterized by a changing mixture of rationality and intuitive processuality; the influence of butoh practice is also noticeable. What happens when the artist decides to go beyond the human, when he explores the corporeal possibilities of a posthumanist approach? Being a Painting is a challenge to become an expanded part of the painting and, in the new animism manner, to create a new being - an art object. The second dimension of the project is an exploration of the possibilities of photo and video documentation of visual performance. From the first part of the research, entitled Attempt at Posthumous Portrait (Rozkvet Gallery in Banská Bystrica, February 1 - March 1, 2023), photographs are exhibited at Hauerova 4 Gallery. The opening performance by Viktor Fuček and Jana Orlova will this time be paired with video documentation.The event was made possible thanks to the support of the grant IGS/7/2023. |
