Text se zaměřuje na evropskou digitální strategii a politiku v kontextu Evropské unie (EU), a to se specifickým zaměřením na využívání a rizika, která s sebou přináší rychlý rozvoj umělé inteligence (AI). Klíčovými tématy v rámci EU jsou nová digitální strategie pro rok 2030, legislativní balíček EU, týkající se digitální ekonomiky a regulace umělé inteligence. Prezentace také zmiňuje program Digitální Evropa a význam AI v knihovnách. Klíčovým bodem je Digitální dekáda, politický program, který má vést EU k digitální transformaci do roku 2030. Tento program se zaměřuje na koordinaci digitálních agend na vládní úrovni, rozvoj dovedností, zlepšení infrastruktury a podporu podnikání. Na něj navazuje nová evropská legislativa v oblastech, jako je AI, digitální služby či datová ekonomika. A také další podpůrná opatření, jako je program Digitální Evropa či systém evropských digitálních inovačních center. AI čím dál více proniká i do knihoven, které ji mohou použít k zefektivnění svých služeb, ale musí se také vyvarovat potenciálních rizik, která AI přináší.

The text focuses on European digital strategy and policy in the context of the European Union (EU), with a specific focus on the use and risks posed by the rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI). Key topics within the EU context are the new digital strategy for 2030, the EU legislative package on the digital economy and the regulation of AI. The presentation also mentions the Digital Europe programme and the importance of AI in libraries. A key point is the Digital Decade, the policy agenda to lead the EU towards digital transformation by 2030. This programme focuses on coordinating digital agendas at government level, developing skills, improving infrastructure and supporting business. It is followed by new European legislation in areas such as AI, digital services and the data economy. And other supporting measures such as the Digital Europe programme or the European Digital Innovation Hubs system. AI is also increasingly penetrating libraries, which can use it to make their services more efficient, but must also avoid the potential risks that AI brings.
