The performance is focused on the concept of “offering“, both in religious practice and etiquette of offering to a guest. The sacred and profane nature of the offering is not usually perceived as connected, the principle is quite the same though. It implies being a deity and a guest have something in common. We are all just quests on this earth; the more noticeable is our role as quests in a different environment or a society though. A guest can be invited or uninvited, which we also feel when we travel, you are a guest in another country, in another environment that we can also enrich with our presence. The topic was chosen to investigate the intercontinental and opposite-gender cultural and spiritual background of the Czech Republic and Brazil. The outcome was the multi-media site-specific performance including the experimental music, video art (Marcus Ramusyo de Almeida Brasil), and performance art piece (Jana Orlová).
