Exhibition of documentary clothing, created with use of photographs from the archive of the Festival of Naked Forms. The Festival of Naked Forms is an artistic event whose main component consists of artistic performances that work with nudity. The festival was founded by artist and researcher Lenka Klodová in Prague in 2015. In its ten years, the festival has offered over 200 performances by 150 artists from 19 countries. This year, FNAF celebrates its 10th anniversary. As part of the celebration, the festival is touring four countries (Ukraine, Estonia, Poland and France) and presenting its art in collaboration with local curators and artists. We thought about how to mark the occasion by showcasing the richness of our archive, which includes high quality photographs and videos of each of the performances. Presenting a performance in the form of an exhibition of its documentation is always a challenge. Much of the energy and content of the work is lost in this way. We wanted to find a more interesting and performative solution to display the FNAF archive. We came up with a new format for the art object - documentary clothing. For each stop of our annual journey we design a new clothing item (jacket, trousers and other elements). (Curators Lenka Klodová and Karolína Raimund)
