Vladimír Birgus připravil novou výstavu ze svých barevných subjektivně dokumentárních fotografií pro galerii ZPAF (Svazu polských umělců fotografú v Katovicích. Mnoho z těchto prací nebylo ještě publikováno. Samotné fotografie byly doplněny ozvučenou projekcí a výstavou Birgusových knih. Expozici zahájil předseda slezského okruhu organizace ZPAF a ředitel galerie Arkadiusz Lawrywianec a kurátor Michal Szalast. Ten o Birgusových fotografiích napsal: "Birgus ve svých fotografiích nepopisuje realitu doslovně – naopak, vytváří obrazy, které jsou odrazem našeho vnitřního stavu, nejednoznačnosti světa, okamžiků pozastavení. V těchto dílech převládá atmosféra napětí a nostalgie. Je to realita viděná očima někoho, kdo dokáže vnímat to, co nám obvykle uniká: jemný gest, fragment architektury, pomíjivé světlo, ticho mezi lidmi."

Vladimír Birgus has prepared a new exhibition of his color subjective documentary photographs for the ZPAF gallery (Association of Polish Artists Photographers in Katowice. Many of these works have not yet been published. The photographs themselves were complemented by a sound projection and an exhibition of Birgus's books. The exhibition was opened by the chairman of the Silesian branch of the ZPAF organization and the director of the gallery Arkadiusz Lawrywianec and curator Michal Szalast. The latter wrote about Birgus's photographs: "Birgus does not describe reality literally in his photographs - on the contrary, he creates images that are a reflection of our inner state, the ambiguity of the world, moments of suspension. An atmosphere of tension and nostalgia prevails in these works. It is reality seen through the eyes of someone who can perceive what usually escapes us: a subtle gesture, a fragment of architecture, fleeting light, silence between people."
