- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to get students acquainted with the specifics of the language corpus, research methods and possible use in various uses of the language. Emphasis is on comparison with traditional linguistic approaches and their weaknesses.
- Learning outcomes
- After completing the course, the student will be able to:
- navigate the field of corpus linguistics, know its development and potential;
- know and work with different types of language corpora;
- carry out independent language research using language corpora; - Syllabus
