Course objectives
Students in the course work with a textbook focused on tourism, learning more advanced grammar of Italian using more complex texts, often in the form of dialogues, including listening to recordings by native speakers. Along with professional terminology, students repeat the basic and most commonly used grammatical phenomena and structures. They will also acquire vocabulary useful for every form of tourist activities, whether it is a sightseeing or residential tour or other types of tours (pilgrimage tours, spas, etc.).
Learning outcomes
Student after completing the course:
- will know professional vocabulary - Handles a conversation associated with a specific place (travel agency, restaurant, hotel, etc.)
- repeats the grammar within the given topic
- by listening to authentic texts they will learn special expressions and phrases
