Practical Exercises in Italian 3 builds on the previous block of exercises and is focused on further developing and improving students' practical language knowledge and communication skills, mastering more demanding passages in Italian grammar, as well as expanding vocabulary. Students approach the level of individual users of the language. Teaching according to the Czech textbook is complemented by Italian study texts, listening and reading moderately difficult literary and non-literary texts on current topics, which helps develop students' ability to understand spoken and written words and also serves as a basis for discussion, conversational and written exercises on common topics. The conversational component of the course creates an opportunity for students to get acquainted with the graphic structure of an Italian newspaper and to understand a newspaper article.
