- Course objectives
- The Practical Language Exercises course is designed, together with the Writing Practice course, to enable students to systematically develop all four language skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing). For this reason, Italian textbooks and exercise books are used alongside Czech teaching materials. The course focuses primarily on deepening students’ basic knowledge of Italian grammar, expanding their vocabulary and practising basic conversational situations. Listening to recordings of native speakers and reading simple texts related to everyday life develop students’ ability to understand standard spoken and written Italian and provide the basis for written and conversational exercises on familiar topics.
