Course objectives
Students will get acquainted with the issues of interactions in foreign language teaching. They will learn to organize the teaching unit so that they take into account the individual peculiarities of students, apply a differentiated approach and plan teaching so that it is as effective as possible and students effectively use time in teaching and in home preparation. Group work will be organized in such a way that all pupils are involved. Students will get acquainted with strategies and techniques of learning in different types of social interactions in foreign language teaching. They will also learn to apply various social forms in teaching: conducting an interview, discussion, moderating activities, evaluating the performance of respondents, resolving conflicts in the classroom, etc.
Learning outcomes
Knowledge of modern strategies and techniques for teaching foreign languages. Knowledge of current trends in teaching.
