- Course objectives
- The course builds on German literature and expands the overview of the history of German literature with knowledge of the most important aspects of individual literary epochs and currents, from the Weimar Republic to the reunification of Germany. Here, too, the political and cultural context in which the discussed literature originated does not stand aside, and it motivates them to think about the connections between literature (art) and the surrounding environment. The theoretical part of the course is supplemented by systematic work with literary texts, on which the context in question is clearly visible and which can become a starting point for a wider discussion.
