Course objectives

Body of knowledge concerning issues of systematic and subject retrieval languages.

Syllabus (in Czech)

• 1. Informační systém, informace a dokumenty - úvod do problematiky; vysvětlení základních pojmů; normativní materiály pro oblast věcného popisu
  2. Selekční jazyk - základní charakteristika; typologie selekčních jazyků; základy teorie selekčních jazyků
  3. Systematické selekční jazyky - klasifikace, historie; charakteristika; přehled systematických klasifikačních systémů; příklady
  4. Předmětové selekční jazyky - klasifikace, historie; charakteristika; přehled předmětových selekčních jazyků; příklady
