Course objectives
During the diploma seminar students get information how to select diploma theses theme, submit Theses plan form to IS. Follow information about selecting appropriate literature for successful set the State of art their theses and organizing remarks. During the seminar all student present their own theses backgrounds and their own contribution to research area.
Learning outcomes
After completion of the course, the student will be able to:
- use and cite literature;
- analyze the topic of the thesis;
- prepare the structure of the thesis
Syllabus
  • 1. Diploma theses theme – selection, submission. Communication with supervisor.
  • 2. Selecting appropriate literature. Information sources.
  • 3. Citations, correct use of information sources.
  • 4. Principles of professional text writing.
  • 5. Presentation of own theses background and own contribution to research area.
