Předmět je zaměřen na systematické rozvíjení dovedností v psaní různých útvarů v cílovém jazyce. Navazuje na předmět Academic writing I. Sylabus : 1. Process, definition, classification, generalisation and qualification 2. Evaluation, analysis 3. The author's approach (intent, attitude, tone, bias, assumptions, implications) 4. Writing for different audiences 5. Persuasive writing 6. Review 7. Doublespeak, vagueness, wordiness 8. Critical reading, critical thinking, critical writing 9. Argument (strategies for persuasion, errors in reasoning) 10. Freewriting, writer's readiness 11. Consistency 12.
