Stručná charakteristika předmětu: Cílem seminářů (mnohdy se jedná o formu praktických nácviků) je hlavně získání schopnosti identifikace anglických hlásek a jejich správné výslovnosti. K tomu musí frekventant bezproblémově zvládnout fonologickou transkripci. V neposlední řadě se procvičují základní prvky suprasegmentu.
