- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is for the students to deepen their knowledge of the language and develop their language skills. Emphasis is on the communication skills based in consistent practice of grammatical structures and systematic enlarging of active and passive vocabulary.

1.-4. týden unit 5 - Love is??
témata: feelings and emotions, proverbs and poetry, different kinds of love
5.-8. týden kontrolní test (unit 5, Peprník lekce 21-30)
unit 6 - Newspeak
témata: the press, newspapers and magazines, journalism, broadcasting, responding to news, tabloid and broadsheet newspapers
9.-12. týden kontrolní test (unit 6, Peprník lekce 31-40)
unit 7 - Words of wisdom
témata: the problems of different age groups, a new-born baby, rhyme and reason, old age
