- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to teach students to work with modern publishing methods, especially in terms of electronic publishing. The course includes both: the classical methods of publishing the read content and their connection to electronic content, enriched by audio-visual elements or multimedia elements. Students will under the guidance of their teacher create and publish the electronic content according to their field of study and thus strengthen their portfolio.
- Syllabus
- Prepress preparation in practice. The correct rate of press, binding, printing methods and its types. Types of printing, press equipment. Printing materials. New and innovative print materials.
Electronic Publishing. Preparing of content for electronic publishing, usage of materials from prepress, methods of electronic publishing, e-books, flash applications, HTML5, photo base, Video base, audio base. electronic readers and other imaging peripherals.
Advanced methods of publishing. Presentations, video, audio, multimedia content in the Internet and in the data medium. Ethics in publishing, marketing tools. How to sell own content. Profitability of publishing on internet. New Media.
