Course objectives
The objective of the summer term course is to acquaint the course participants with the essentials of the film edition field. Historical development of the field. Variations of editing techniques. Variations of image processing of projects shot by a film technique. Processing a video shot by Betacam electronic technology in two phases - off line, on-line, Avid non-linear edition. Processing a video in the miniDV a DVCAM formats within the XpressDV system. Edition structure . A key element in the process of film making.
