Course objectives
The aim of this course is for the students to acquire the systematic as well as practical knowledge of English sytax. Emphasis is on their understanding of syntactic terminology and their ability to apply their knowledge when syntactically analyzing English sentences and texts. The course provides an overview of Irish poetry and culture, from the French Revolution until contemporary times. It focuses on the most influential movements and representatives of Irish poetry.

AIPK1 Anglo-Irish Poetry/Anglo-irská poezie
Regular attendance to the seminars, presentation/essay and a successful completion of a written test which would prove the students` ability to apply theoretical background upon texts.
