- Course objectives
- The course aims at familiarizing the students with the general methodology in the field of proper names and place names. The subject matter of the course is the comparison of proper names and place names and identifying linguistic invariants and the differences given by the historical and cultural history. Emphasis is also on the students` enlarging their vocabulary in the areas of lexis that tend to be overlooked.
