- The students work out presentations on chosen topics. The seminar results in a synthetic view of the Italian capital as the cultural, historical and artistic center of Italy.

- 1. Short story of Rome
2. Ancient Rome: Roman Forum, Colosseum, the Pantheon
3. Ancient Rome: Roman gates, Roman walls;
4. Christian Rome: Vatican (San Pietro, S. Maria Maggiore)
5. Christian Rome: San Giovanni in Laterano, San Paolo fuori le Mura
6. Artistic Rome: important churches of different periods
7. Artistic Rome: museums and galleries of Rome
8. Architecture of Rome: arches, obelisks, fountains
9. Architecture of Rome: Roman squares (Piazza S. Pietro, Campo de? Fiori, Piazza Navona, Piazza di Spagna, Piazza del Popolo)
10. Architecture of Rome: aristocratic Rome, Roman palaces, villas (Quirinale, Barberini, Chigi ecc.)
11. Modern Rome: university city, Termini, airport, EUR etc.
12. Culture of Rome: cinecitta, theatres, exhibitions
