Course objectives
The seminar aims to introduce students into the basic questions of literary study and its vocabulary. The course includes reading and speaking about a selection of major works that represent the most important authors, periods and movements of Italian literature. That`s how the achieved theoretical knowledge is put into practice through the text analysis. The seminars offer the rudiments of the knowledge necessary for further study of Italian literature.

At least 80% attendance, home preparation of assigned texts, essay. The course is concluded with an exam based on a text analysis.
