- Course objectives
- This course is the fourth in a series of practical language courses. It aims at overall development of Use of English by developing reading, writing, listening and speaking skills. Interaction is also one of the assessed skills. The textbook Cambridge English Advanced Result used in the course corresponds to Level Four in the Cambridge ESOL five-level system, and Council of Europe Level C1.

- To pass the course the students are required to achieve at least 70% in each part of the exam:
1) Grammar and vocabulary (max 90, min 63)
2) Listening (max 20, min 14 points)
3) Reading (max 20, min 14 points)
4) Writing (max 20, min 14 points)
5) Speaking (max 50, min 35)
There will be two retakes for each part of the exam. The students will only have to retake the part(s) of the exam which they fail.
