Course objectives

The second semester of the Italian literature in film course concentrates on the 20th century literary works that have been adapted into a movie. The students are supposed to look up some information about the author and read an assigned passage from his/her work for in advance. In the following lesson the relation between the film and the literary work is discussed and the text analysed. This course completes the Italian literature 4 course.
