- Course objectives
- The lectures offer basic information on theory and practice of modern textual criticism, inform e.g. about: what transcriptional changes to introduce into the text (and according to which principles), why and how to write a commentary, how to present variants (variae lectiones).
- Learning outcomes
- The students shall be able:
to know what is purpose of writing the commentary,
to write (establish) an apparatus and a commentary,
to include variant readings in the apparatus. - Syllabus
