Předmět uvádí do problematiky autonomnních systémů z jednotícího hlediska teorie agentů a multiagentových systémů, seznamuje s architekturou a funcionalitou těchto systémů, a to se zvláštním zřetelem i na tzv. post-modulární architektury agentů a multiagentových systémů, robotů a jejich society.
