Náplň předmětu Italská konverzace 5 je založena především na poslechu televizních i rozhlasových zpráv a na četbě aktuálních textů dosažitelných na internetu. Materiál určený k poslechu a četbě se stává základem konverzačních cvičení, která předpokládají aktivní účast posluchačů. Konverzační cvičení, jehož cílem zůstává rozvíjení komunikačních schopností a dovednosti mluvení, je zaměřeno na aktuální dění v Itálii a v ostatních italofonních zemích. Tři lekce budou věnovány přehledu italského tisku, vypracovaného pokaždé 2 až 3 studenty. Sylabus předmětu tvoří práce s italskými masmédii uvedenými jako studijní literatura a pomůcky.
