Course objectives
The aim of the course is to make the students acquainted with the basic principles of image processing and with the possibilities of editing of image files, using the software tools Adobe Creative Suite. The tuition in the first year will focus on handling the basic work habits when working with image editors (Adobe Photoshop), on the issue of processing primary information from capture devices (digital camera, scanner), and on the creation of work procedures aimed at a technically precise reproduction of a pattern.
Syllabus (in Czech)
  • Výuka v rámci prvního ročníku bude zaměřena na zvládnutí základních pracovních návyků při práci s obrazovými editory (Adobe Photoshop), dále na problematiku zpracování primárních informací z digitalizačních zařízení (digitální fotoaparát, scanner) a také na vytvoření pracovního postupu zaměřeného na technicky precizní reprodukci předlohy.

80% attendance at the lectures, to demonstrate the obtained knowledge in a written test, and submission of two practical tasks according to the tutor’s instructions.
