Course objectives
The course is focused on the theoretical introduction to the lingustics. Along with the methods of language research basic linguistic terms (functions of language, language as a systém, synchronic and diachronic linguistic, writen and spoken language) are introduced. The Italian language is described from the genealogical and typological point of view and observed on different levels with the aim to introduce the disciplines studied separately in the following years (morphology, syntax and lexikology).
