- Course objectives
- Students will acquire basic knowledge of architecture, and the types of computer networks, network devices.
- Syllabus
- Practical exercises are oriented on the installation, configuration and maintenance of network hardware, networking home (SOHO) routers and SOHO Wi-Fi devices. Students will become familiar with the basic concepts of computer network (DHCP, NAT, DNS, AP, Ad-hoc, Infrastructure. WEP, WPA, PSK, IP address, ...) and Internet basics and safety at work on a computer network.
Students gain a basic knowledge of structured cabling including basic fault diagnosis.
