Course objectives
The aim of the course is to develop the knowledge gained at the secondary school. The students will learn to be well informed and work efficiently with the operating system available at the faculty. They will learn to use keyboard shortcuts, work with clipboard, applications available in the operating system and user settings of the system. They will get acquainted with network tools and services, with the Internet, and Mail User Agent for electronic mails administration. They will learn to process electronic documents with emphasis on economical and efficient usage of text editor in practical tasks. The students will learn to present their work in a well arranged way using software available at the faculty.

  • 1. Operating system, user setting and applications available in the operating system implemented at the faculty
    2. Work in computer network, tools available at the faculty network
    3. Work with browser, Mail User Agent for handling electronic mail
    4. Electronic documents processing by means of text editors
    5. Development of presentation by means of software available at the faculty
