Course objectives
The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the operation of information systems, with their role in public administration and the benefits of their use in the field of social services. Students will understand the importance of IS / IT in relation to the public and non-profit sector. Seminars of the subject are focused on the development of knowledge in the use of information and database services in the field of public administration.

    2. Systems theory and its applications,
    3. Information systems and technology, characteristics and classification,
    4. State Information System - philosophy and standards,
    5. Architecture of the state IS,
    6. Application architecture client-server in the enterprise IS, and the importance of database systems and replication systems,
    7. The role of mass data processing, classic "agenda" solutions,
    8. Database technology,
    9. Real estate property register,
    10. Register of citizens,
    11. Evidence of motor vehicles,
    12. Municipal information system.

" 75% attendance in seminars, active participation,
" presentation in front of the group - topic assigned by the lecturer,
" written test in the extent of the given literature and the content of seminars - success rate 60 %.
