Course objectives
This course is intended to present morphology as a part of grammar. Students should learn what the discipline is concerned with and how it can help them to use the language correctly. Individual word classes and their specific characteristics will be presented in detail. Attention will be paid to nouns, adjectives, verbnominal predicates and modality. At the end of the seminar, a current topic in the field of morphology will be introduced. The topic might be, for example, the correct and incorrect usage of the genitive.
