- Course objectives
- The objective of the seminar is to inform students of basic typology of information services of the Internet with consideration of the needs of librarians and information officers. We lay stress on practical knowledge of basic retrieval systems ? engines, metaengines and options of search services. Historical circumstances and context of the creation and using of information services in daily life of libraries and information institutions are included in this subject.
