Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
Good secondary-school knowledge of the English grammar is expected when the students are admitted. Therefore, the course focuses on the individual word classes and various English grammatical categories and aspects which in various ways differ from the Czech grammatical system.

    1. Verbs 1 (regular and irregular lexical verbs, primary auxiliaries)
    2. Verbs 2 (modals)
    3. Verbs 3 (tense and aspect)
    4. Verbs 4 (mood and voice, nonfinite verb forms)
    5. Nouns 1 (number, gender)
    6. Nouns 2 (case, countability)
    7. Articles (a/an, the, zero)
    8. Pronouns 1 (specific)
    9. Pronouns 2 (indefinite)
    10. Adjectives and adverbs
    11. Numerals
    12. Prepositions, conjunctions, interjections
