- Course objectives
- Students will acquire basic knowledge of architecture, and the types of computer networks, network devices, network protocols and basic measurements on networks. Practical exercises are devoted to install, configuration and management of basic network devices.

- 1. Reference model OSI.
2. Addresses - types od addresses, datagrams, fragmentation and segmentation.
3. Networks topology.
4. Basics of data communication, transfer route.
5. Cabling systems.
6. Networks technology: ethernet, token ring, AnyLan, FDDI, ATM, WiFi.
7. Networks devices - classification and function.
8. Routing and routed protocols.
9. Internet protocols - network classes, subnet, common and privat addresses.
10. Netware protocols.
11. Networks basic diagnostic tools.
