Students become familiar with modern 3D imaging and its potential to preserve the cultural heritage of mankind.
Syllabus
  • Historical introduction to the topic
    General principles of representation and image features
    Breakdown imaging
    3D image and the possibility of its occurrence
    Spectroscopic methods for the creation, recording and playback of 3D image properties stereoscopic image
    Holographic methods for the creation, recording and 3D image reconstruction, image features.
    The principles of holographic interferometry.
    Spectroscopic methods and the role of information and documentation in relation to cultural heritage.
    Practical use of 3D spectroscopic methods to capture the state of cultural monuments, documentation of archaeological finds and archaeological works.
    Holography as a method of archiving and documentation of the state of cultural works, overview of state.
    The use of holographic interferometry to analyze the status of cultural monument - principles, properties and overview of methods used.
    Use of 3D stereoscopic methods for archiving of the artwork and cultural heritage state through practical examples.
