- The aim of the course is to provide students with basic information about sound and written system of Czech. Students will learn the basics of Czech phonetics, phonology and orthography.
- Learning outcomes
- Students will be able: - to know the basic terminology of phonetics and phonology - to describe the Czech sound system - to describe the changes due to speech production - to use the phonetic transcription - to know and use the principles of Czech orthography
