Course objectives
The aim of this course will be to familirize students with the basics of creating vector graphics. The course will be teached how to use Adobe Illustrator and Corel Draw, Dia, Microsoft Visio, ProfiCAD and MicroStation.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student will be able to: - create vector graphics, designs for posters, logos, business cards, technical drawings, electrical drawings, building plans, diagrams, diagrams - work with relevant graphical programs such as Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw - create, work and model 3D objects - work with text, writing and typesetting in creation of a graphic manual
Syllabus
  • Vector graphic formats * Desktop, tools, menus, working with tools and desktop.
    * Work with text and writing, typesetting.
    * Create vector objects, curves, lines, circles, ellipses, squares, rectangles, shapes, arrows, stars, and more.
    * Borders, fills, gradients, textures.
    * Interactive transitions, interactive contours, interactive deformation, interactive envelope, interactive extrusion, interactive shadows transparency, lens, perspective, contour
    * 3D objects.
    * Working with objects, their position, grouping, capturing * Import images, work with bitmaps and their effects * Export and print * Vectorization of bitmap images
    * Multilines, Dimensions, conic sections, perpendiculars, chords, tangents, parallel objects, intersections, splitting, joining, hatching.
    * 3D modeling.
    * Technical and electrical drawings and markers, drawing of technical drawings, drawing of diagrams and diagrams.
    Content of practices
    According to the acquired knowledge, the student will gradually create designs for posters, logos, business cards, technical drawings, electrical drawings, floor plans, diagrams, diagrams and other vector graphics.
    The student will gradually work with Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw, Dia, ProfiCAD, MicroStation PowerDraft and work out assigned tasks.
