Living together" Documentary film 4 minutes - semester film Exercise 2nd, second year, camera work Exercise title: "Light and statement" Type of exercise: Joint team exercise, realized in the seminar in the form of a workshop, introduction with a teacher, finalization in a team without a teacher. Environment: school premises, school studio Participation: editing, sound, directing Length of the film: According to the number of students - assumption about 10min./6 students Exercise 3, second year, camera work Exercise title: "Falling down the stairs" Feature exercise Participation: editing, sound, directing Implementation: group exercise - three students HD on school big camera, use tripod, artificial light Purpose: the student practices decompression and compression of film time by means of editing, decomposing the action into detailed shots, which bind to each other mainly by movement and opposing composition. During the implementation, the students deal with the correct exposure and color balance. Realization: staircase, interior or exterior with enough space for filming Contents: The student shoots a short story that seems to be taken from a great feature film. The character comes to the stairs, slides and falls down the stairs. The fall itself must look "scary". The reason why the character falls down the stairs and the point is invented by the listeners in the team, to which they have clearly divided tasks for the actual shooting. It is important that the fall from the stairs lasts longer than in reality, it is necessary to spread the fall itself / foot - slip, hand - catches the railing, face - surprise, props held in the hand flying in the opposite direction, the body falls on the stairs, hand trying to capture, the foot flies, the eyes bulging, the body rolls, ... at least 10 shots of the fall itself should decompose the action, which lasts in reality 2 seconds to 10 - 15 seconds. Other shots form the introduction and point. For example - the character opens his eyes, stands nonchalantly, and looks as if nothing has happened and continues to walk ....
