Course objectives
The aim of the course is to develop knowledge of English professional terminology in the field of professional translation, business, services and corporate documentation. Students will get acquainted with the issues of professional translation, localization and cultural adaptation, ie the adaptation of a product, document or service to target users. After completing the seminar, students will be able to use the above facts correctly in English and Czech.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student will be able to describe and apply the process of localization to the translated text
