Course objectives
Practical Exercises in Italian 3 builds on the previous block of exercises and is focused on further developing and improving students' practical language knowledge and communication skills, mastering more demanding passages in Italian grammar, as well as expanding vocabulary. Students approach the level of individual users of the language. Teaching according to the Czech textbook is complemented by Italian study texts, listening and reading moderately difficult literary and non-literary texts on current topics, which helps develop students' ability to understand spoken and written words and also serves as a basis for discussion, conversational and written exercises on common topics. The conversational component of the course creates an opportunity for students to get acquainted with the graphic structure of an Italian newspaper and to understand a newspaper article.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student will be able to:
- master Italian at the A2-B1 level;
- deepen their knowledge of grammar, including the use of technical terminology;
- understands authentic spoken text and is able to comment on it;
- can understand and translate more professional written text and process a summary;
- can express and defend his opinion.

  • 2. Conversazione a partire dalla recensione di un libro; passato remoto dei verbi in –ere e dei verbi irregolari
  • 3. Conversazione a partire dalla recensione di un concerto; trapassato remoto
  • 4. Conversazione a partire dalla recensione di un’opera
  • lirica; esprimere un parere sulle persone; fare paragoni; gerundio composto; proposizioni implicite con participio passato
  • 5. Rassegna stampa degli studenti; forma passiva con l’ausiliare essere/ venire
  • 6. Conversazione a partire da un articolo di costume; si passivante; andare + participio passato
  • 7. Conversazione a partire da un articolo satirico; test 1, revisione
