- Course objectives
- The cycle of lectures and seminars is dedicated to an overview of the 19th century Italian literature. The lectures aim to characterize the period from a literary, historical and social point of view and to present its main authors. The seminars consist in analyses of a series of literary works.
- Learning outcomes
- The students have a general knowledge of the main literary trends of the 19th century, they can place the most important Italian authors and their works in the literary and historical context, thay can subject a literary text to a formal and content analysis.
