- Course objectives
- Seminars are a necessary introduction to work with the image, which is understood as a carrier of information. It stands on the border of creative and technical subject. The student will get acquainted with the theory of image and its interpretation in artistic, advertising and technical fields. The course aims to uncover established procedures in the creation of audiovisual works, to illuminate and relate compositional and creative techniques. It is assumed that the graduate will be able to master the basic techniques of composition and manipulate the image and information it contains. He will be able to produce an audiovisual work that will be free of basic compositional errors, disturbing or confusing elements. Gains the necessary knowledge for subsequent work with the image. Whether in photography, filmmaking or applied graphics.
- Learning outcomes
- The student will be familiar with the interpretation of the image, will master the basic compositional techniques and will get the necessary introduction to the most basic concepts of editing and film speech.
- Syllabus
- • Composition history, image composition (content, plot, color), • golden ratio, fibonacci sequence, • shot sizes, shot aspects, axis • composing static and dynamic images, • time in photography, plot, • connection of photography and introduction to the editing composition, photo scenario, • practical excercises, • Photo and video errors • interpretation of technical and information quality of the image.
